This game is just wonderful. I bought it for my 3 y/o son. He plays about an hour a day. He's learned a lot he runs around singing every letter makes a sound etc.... He wants to tell you the beginnings letter of word he says. Anything he asks for he's using letters can I have j j juice it starts with J. Great game

I purchased this for my 5 yr. old grandaughter for Xmas. She has hardly put it down. It has to be her favorite present. I love the fact that I can get more games as she masters the ones we now have.

I purchased LeapPad2 for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is enjoying it to the max. Her parent will be purchasing the Rechargeable Battery Pack,(batteries are extremely high). The Letter Factory is a wonderful starter game.

The leappads said they were for children 3 to 9. However, after buying my daughter one for her third birthday and caught my 2 year old playing with it constantly I realized that 2 was plenty old for this toy! I bought a second one and now we take them everywhere! They seriously have made my life easier, and happier. Dinners out are now quiet, long drives are fuss free, and bed time is a joy! this is our favorite game so far... it matches the video was taught my children their ABC's at just 18 months old (each).
thanks Leappad for making this mommy's life a little (no a lot) easier!
Both girls love this game (ages 2 and 4 now).

This game is so funny and interesting, my little boy and girl really like. They have played this game whenever are free time. Sometimes I also play with them. I will buy more LeapFrog games for my children in the future.

Pros: Fun for kids
i took off a star because i really thought there would be "more to it". that being said my daughter really likes this game. She already knows all of her letters and letter sounds... i bought it more for her little sister who is still learning, but my older daughter(4), hasn't shared it with her yet. it's fun probably because it's so easy! i find it really boring. but i think it will be good for my letter learner who is 2. if your child already knows their letters and letter sounds, there's really nothing more in this cartridge for them. you may want to skip it for something more educational. of course it's good re-enforcement for letters and letter sounds, but it is also expensive!
