Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
The Leap Pad 2 has been used for about two weeks. Our children love it. Each child has their own. We will be on our trip across the country very soon. We planned on this being a great aid for our children. They can play and learn as we go.

Excellent Learning Tool
Date:November 9, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
We bought this for our son for his fourth birthday. He quickly learned the basic features of the LeapPad and is working to learn his games. We were very happy with how quickly the bundle arrived. I do wish that the tablet itself fit tighter into the carrying case as we have found that it slips out as he is trying to zip the case closed. I love that it has six slots to keep games in so that he can bring a variety of games with him. He loves the cameras on the tablet! I love that it takes the picture very quickly so he still gets good pictures even though he moves the camera right after he hears the click. We continue to be very pleased with Leap Frog, it products and service!

This product is a lot of fun with great features
Date:October 19, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
I bought it for my 3 year old son. He loves playing with all the features and apps. He loves the camera feature. He would play with it for hours if I didnt limit him. Good buy. I definitely recommend this product.
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
I like to buy my grandson educational toys. I picked Leap Pad because I have other products from Leap Frog that have been a great value. As much as I like the leap pad I do think it is expensive. I don't really like the cartridges because you have to load them (especially for a 3 years old) and they are really expensive I think for what you get. I like to downloads better but you can't download everything you are made to buy the cartridges. The selection of music for a 3 year old is not good at all and when I downloaded my own none of the titles would go with them so you have no idea what the title is to pick a song to play. I bought it for a Christmas present in 3 months and wanted to load it with everything so Christmas Day he could play with it but according to the instructions I saw after I opened it that it cannot be returned onced open. So now tell me how do you know if you like it if you don't open it and try it????? Not sure I would have bought it if I had known that. Like I said I love the educational aspects but to many other negative things. Sorry Leap Frog!
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
My 4 year old daughter uses her Leap Pad 2 on average of 1 hour per day. I am very pleased with the wide variety of things she can do with this product to help with her creativity and imagination. The phonics video that she has is something I love in particular. She has started making the sounds of letters and quizzing my husband and me with which letter makes which sound. I also find this helpful when visitng places such as doctor's offices where there isn't much entertainment for kids and this is very convenient to bring along. I find it much more educational than handing my phone to my daughter to play a game. I love that even the "games" that she has on the Leap Pad 2 are educational. I love this product and would definitely highly recommend to any parent with a child ages 3-9.

This product is a great learning tool for children. It is well thought out and presents well. I have always enjoyed Leap Frog products starting with TAD for infants on up. Keep it up.

Got one for my four year old for his birthday and he loves it. Some of the teaching things are a little ahead of him but he loves to try. Just watching him performing the tasks and his excitement when he completes a task is worth every penny.

I got this for my four year old and he loves it especially the camera feture Did not have to show him how to use it and he was able to navigate to different games and functions. Even my 8-year old is hooked on it. I wish that it came with charger in the bundel.

Great Value for Price!!!
Date:August 29, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
We purchased this product for our 4 year old for his birthday. After going round and round regarding what to get him, I stumbled upon the new LeapPad2. Having not purchased a LeapFrog product in over 10 years, I was quite amazed with the way they have continued to stay on top of their game. Our son thoroughly enjoys every application that it comes with (especially the camera and video feature) and spends hours playing. I highly recommend the rechargeable battery pack and AC adapter along with the headset and carry case. We bundled our package on LeapFrogs website which gave us the option to choose what we wanted. No store offers that.

Great toy. It keeps my son entertained while being educational at the same time. My son is obssesed with my husbands iPad and this pad makes him think he has his own! The only down fall is it sucks up batteries.

Great gift for any child
Date:August 27, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
I brought this product as a gift for my god child last year I brought the original leappad last year for my niece and she LOVE IT!!!! She takes her everywhere so this year I decided to buy my god child one and I notice that they came out with the leappad two that has more features...I would reccommend this item to any one and the bundle is great you have a couple of games to start off with and the case which I think is extremely important when buying for a child you want to protect the device when it's not being used.

Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
Great product. Actual device is built well and very user friendly. Although some of the games are harder for my preschooler than i thought they would be and there are very minimal options for 3 year olds (other than movies/videos/books). Certainly something he will grow into.

Leap pad over iPad for my 2 year old
Date:August 26, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
I got this LP2 for my 2year old son and it's amazing how good he does with it!!! He is tracing letters!!!! Tracing letters at 2yrs old!!!! It's very sturdy and toddler friendly!!! However the games are a lil too advanced for him right now. And make sure you get the rechargeable batteries. I even bought and Pad screen cover and cut it to protect his screen ( after all he is 2) great investment into you child's future!!!!
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
Has been wonderful for our 4yr old son. He loves it and took to it right away.

LeapPad2
Date:August 24, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
My son LOVES his LeapPad 2. He received it for his 4th birthday and he is always excited to play with his "computer". So far I have seen improvements in his writing skills and letter recognition. My only problem is that my 81/2 yr old daughter loves it too! She plays the math games and I think it has improved her addition and subtraction facts. Now if I can only manage the fights over it!

LeapPad2 Disney Bundle
Date:August 17, 2012
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child
In early July I was ready to buy the LeapPad for my 3 1/2 year old son for our vacation (looong car drive) at the first of this month. Last year we bought a DVD player for the trip but since he's a little older, I wanted him to do something rather than watch movies for 10 hours straight. While I was doing some research online, I saw that the LeapPad2 was coming out the same week we were due to leave. I decided to pre-order it and have it shipped overnight so he would have it in time. I was a little worried it might be too much for him (since most of the games say age 4-7) but after reading reviews for the original LeapPad, I figured he would be okay with it. I'm so glad I bought it, he LOVES it! I thought I'd have to figure it out first and show him how to use it but he just took it and ran with it! He loves Jake & the Neverland Pirates and the game is perfect since he's familiar with the characters. It was great to watch him reach milestones and then see the game increase the levels as he progressed. He's even learned a few things that we haven't "come across" yet such as what "medium" is in comparison to small and large. He loves taking pictures too. I was so glad to have him put the DVD player down and say "I want to play with my LeapPad!" I would definitely recommend it and I look forward to watching him learn with it in the coming years.
