broke after handful of times used
Date:February 16, 2012
got this for my 3 yr old twins, broke after a hand ful of times being used. the red spot will not recongize, and that eliminates a lot of the games that they can play. Plus, there are no games anywhere to buy.

Doesn't work
Date:January 29, 2012
I bought this for my son on Black Friday for his birthday in January. We hooked the machine up and was able to get my sons name in then it stopped working. The screen on the TV was black, you could hear audio but could not see anything. My son has been looking forward to playing with this. Nothing like disappointing a 3 year old.

recieved as a gift December 2011. Evidentally, Leapfrog is no longer supporting this system. We cannot find games for it anywhere. Even the store it was purchased from only carries the system. It looks to be obsolete. We will get our use from the games installed on the unit, but it will not grow with the child so I fear after sometime our child will get bored of it. I would recommmend going with a newer system like the leapfrog explorer or whatever they come out with in 2012.
We love this, it came with games already on it, its fun and educational. With one HUGE problem, my daughter is autistic and has gradually bitten pieces off of the wand, which is a soft foam like material. Really sad because its a great value since you don't need to buy extra games. Still functions but have to watch her so she doesn't keep eating parts of it. Maybe wouldn't be a problem if you were dealing with just any 3 year old, but not our case. Still would say its a great interactive toy, love the movement with all the games.

nice game
Date:January 29, 2011
Pros: Fun for kids
This game Is relatively easy to use. I log my son in then let him: navigate, select games, and play. he is almost 3, and can use the controls. When he wants to watch TV I sometimes plug this in and he is getting fairly good at the various games, selecting the colors, solving problems, counting etc.
